Gesstwood is located on a 62-acre lot in the centre of Essex County. It includes 20 acres of playing ground, 35 acres of woodland and seven acres of meandering stream. With just a short drive from the city, Gesstwood offers a peace and tranquility that makes you feel as though you're worlds away.

Gesstwood's forests, chapel and firesides offer a place for tranquil reflection whether you seek it as a part of a faith community, with family or on a solitary journey. Come and renew yourself in faith and friendship.

Gesstwood has long been popular with families, school groups and community organizations for meetings, retreats and picnics. The facilities may be used for events of a few hours, or of several days. Our rates are affordable and our facilities and setting are ideal for groups of all ages, interests and faiths.
